Stay Down Champion, Stay Down

Opening December 4, 2010

Considering the location of the WUHO gallery – along Hollywood Blvd’s iconic walk of fame – Stay Down Champion, Stay Down focuses on the presence and interactivity of the ground plane.  Comprised of a system of terra cotta tiles, the floor of the gallery breaks away from the planar to compose a flowing and colorful interior landscape.  Together the contrast of the analog tiles and digital surface creates a compelling visual and spatial experience that rivals the lure of the historic sidewalk beyond the gallery.
