Form Work: Yasushi Ishida

Opening: Thursday, 8 September, 6pm
The work consists of a series of experiments with flexible sheet form work for concrete to create a variety of structures. It aims to discover novel aesthetic potentials of the flexible sheet form work technique and aspires to invent a design process that is informed by material behavior. Ishida, who is a visiting professor at Woodbury School of Architecture, presents the culmination of a year-long design research project. The exhibition showcases work produced during academic year 2015 – 2016 in collaboration with architecture students at Woodbury.

Range: WSoA Alumni Exhibition, celebrates the vitality of the wide-ranging accomplishments of our alumni. This event honors the 16-year legacy of the late Dean Norman Millar. All proceeds from this event will go directly toward the Norman R. Millar Scholarship Endowment.
FAIA Salon: Annie Chu + Jeanine Centuori

The FAIA Salon is an evening to honor Jeanine Centuori and Annie Chu, two Woodbury School of Architecture faculty who were elevated this year to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. This honor recognizes the significant contributions that they have made to architecture and society on a national level, in particular their visions of inclusiveness and diversified careers.
