2D3D : Fast, Cheap and Out of Control

Drawing has become a major and arguably parallel mode of expression for many of today’s progressive architects.  2D3D is a comprehensive annual exhibition of architectural drawings, inaugurated March 25, 2010 in the Woodbury Hollywood Gallery (WUHO).

Exhibition dates | March 25th 2010 through April 23rd 2010
WUHO | 6518 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028

curated by Barbara Bestor & Ingalill Wahlroos-Ritter

“Architectural drawings have a variety of uses: to instruct, inform, indulge, confuse, confirm, congratulate and console.  The most worthwhile are those that undertake these essential architectural tasks on behalf of the producer rather than the consumer.  When this is the case, which is rare, then such drawings do indeed become an integral part of the architecture they portray rather than a cypher for thoughts translated elsewhere, and by other means.” ~ Cedric Price
